Last Chance Challenge

So while I was at church this morning, I received a letter with instructions to read it before the entire congregation.  It has to do with our Biggest Loser Nomad competition.

Here are the full contents of that letter.

Dear Nomad Family,

From the Biggest Loser Nomad Board of Directors (I was not aware we had a Board of Directors)

Green team Captain Steve Schmitt will no longer be allowed to coerce anyone into stepping on the scale.  If a person says, "I am not weighing in this week," then that will be the end of the conversation.  Weigh Ins will now take place in the back office.  Steve will only be allowed to ask people if they would like to come weigh in.  If they say no or not right now, he is not to pressure or ask them again in any way.

TIME FOR A TWIST

It has come to the attention of the board that laziness and complacency have taken hold within the ranks of Biggest Loser Nomad.  We are referring, of course, to the Green Team Captain Steve Schmitt.  His eating habits are returning to old form, and we believe it may be spreading to other Nomad Biggest Losers as evidenced by Facebook Food Pictures and Restaurant Check Ins.  Therefore, to help motivate Steve and all of the contestants, we are presenting the LAST CHANCE CHALLENGE!

Here are the rules,

1. This competition runs from today, May 20th through July 4th.  It does not affect any overall biggest loser nomad numbers to date.

2.  It is an Steve vs. Nomad challenge.  Everyone starts at 0% weight loss, so any weight lost by Steve or any other contestants doesn't count toward this challenge.

3.  Anyone is eligible.  Biggest Loser Contestants are automatically entered.  Those who have not signed up for BLN, but would like to compete just need to weigh in.

4.  You must weigh in sometime in the first week to be eligible.

5.  The person who can defeat Steve by the largest percentage of weight loss will be the winner.

6.  The prize is bragging rights...and $100 which Steve will take out of his own pocket (who approved that)

7.  One final twist...since Nomad is a family and Biggest Losers are in this together, every pound that is gained over the next six weeks will result in a 2 dollar deduction from the 100 dollars.  If a person chooses not to weigh in, that will also result in a 2 dollar deduction.  If Steve gains weight, each pound will result in a 2 dollar addition to the total.  Contestants are part of a team and together everyone can have tremendous success.

Sincerely,

The Nomad Biggest Loser Board of Directors
